About
Hello
there...
I
suppose this is the spot where people say 'welcome to my corner of
the internet'. Well, I'll say welcome, to be sure, but it's not
really my corner.
Back
in October of 2016, Grace Notes by Georgie began. The first day or
so, and you would have found me totally absorbed in discovering the
ins and outs of Blogger. Then you may have found me comparing myself
with other bloggers' designs, writing abilities, etc. I think you get
the picture.
Well,
I'm grateful God let me come to my senses within the first couple
days of woolgathering. I realized that I was making this little dot
on the www mine. God showed me that anything I am,
everything I have, all I'll ever be is all from Him. So, by His grace, I gave this
blog to Him.
You
see, whenever I compared myself with others, I was really taking what
God had given me, and scaling it up to whatever He gave someone else.
And every time I did it, it lowered my view of God's gift to me.
Whenever I'm tempted to make it my own and not enough again, God
brings me back around so I can give it to Him again.
"I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God,
who is sending a love letter to the world."
-Mother Teresa

Hi! I just found your blog, we have some stuff in common! (YAY!) All though coffee is my favorite I also collect mugs, (you can never have too many) love music, play violin, (for 7+ years) also a teen and Jesus has my heart. ♡ I love your blog, and will follow it soon!!
ReplyDeleteHi Paige! Thanks so much for commenting!! It's fun to 'meet' another like-minded teen! And good for you for 7+ years of violin! I've only been playing since March. ;)
DeleteThanks again for stopping by; now I'll have to check your blog out. ☺
